Public Questions
on the ballot

Any registered voter in Bureau County may cast an early
ballot.  The casting of an early ballot is final and the voter
will not be eligible to cast a ballot on election day.
Individuals who request an early ballot maybe asked to
present identification.

Voters who will not be able to be at the polls on election day may
either cast an early ballot or apply for an absentee ballot to be
sent to them.  An absentee application will need to be completed
before the ballot is sent. You may download the application at
the top of this page and send in to the County Clerk's office.

Since this is a Primary Election, a party ballot must be declared or chosen in order to
cast a ballot. Those with a public question to vote on may just pick a Nonpartisan
ballot to just vote on the question.
